Short description

Pick data on the current page, export it, or send it to an endpoint you choose.

Single purpose

Pick data on the current page, export it, or send it to an endpoint you choose.

Description

Super Simple Scraper opens a panel on the page you already have open. Pick a repeated list, rename the columns, and download a CSV or JSON file. You can also send that table to an https endpoint you configure.

The free export includes the first 25 rows of the current page. A one-time license, sold by us and not by Google, unlocks every row, more pages, saved scrapers, image download, and sending to your API. Card numbers are never entered in the extension.

Privacy

Your extracted data stays in your browser. We don't receive or store pages you scrape or tables you create. Data leaves your browser only when you export it or explicitly send it to an endpoint you configure. License validation sends only licensing information to our payment provider.

We do not sell data and we do not use extracts for advertising. Use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permission justifications

activeTab, scripting, storage. Pick data on the current page, export it, or send it to an endpoint you choose. The toolbar button runs the scraper on the current tab and keeps saved scrapers and a license in the Chrome profile.

Optional host access for https and http sites. These patterns are eligible to request. They are not granted at install. Starting a multi-page run, or sending to an API, asks for one origin. Saving images asks for the sites that host those files. An API endpoint must be https. A page run may be http.

Optional downloads. Requested the first time you save images from the current page. Chrome also asks to read the sites that host the images you keep.

Data use

Website content stays in the browser and is transferred only when you export it or click Send. A remembered API token stays in the Chrome profile, and the panel says it is not encrypted by Super Simple Scraper. Unchecking Remember this token on this device removes that token. The address can stay.
